Add my Tank

Adding a Tank

You must add a Tank to access most of the different features of the app. Click on the "+" sign on the tool bar to create a Tank Item.

This will lead you to Tank Data section where you can add your tank details. Click on the "camera" icon to add a tank image from camera or gallery.

Click on the "floppy disk" icon to save the Tank data.

Note: You must enter a Tank Name to save the Tank Object.

1. Clicking on any Tank Object will provide you various tools to manage each tank.
2. Long Clicking on any Tank Object will enable you to edit the Tank Data. 

Swipe any Tank Object to remove it. You will be prompted with an option to UNDO the action.

Nutrient Dosage Calculator

The App provides you with a useful feature to calculate your nutrient dosage according to your planted tank needs.

Let us see what each Input Boxes mean:

Tank Volume : Volume of Tank in Litre or Gallon

Frequency : Number of times you want to dose the nutrient in a week (recommended is 3-4 times). An input of 3 means 3 dose per week.

<Element>(ppm) : Here you will enter the ppm you want to achieve in one week as shown below:

A list of commonly used salt is provided alongside the fertilizer element so that user can choose accordingly.

On clicking CALCULATE you will get the weight of salt under the Header : WEEKLY in grams to be added per dose to achieve the weekly target ppm.

On selecting Liquid Dose, 2 new Input Boxes will be activated:

Stock Solution : If you are preparing a stock solution then you have to input the volume of the stock solution in ml.

Dose : Here you have to input the volume of the stock solution to be added to the tank per dose in ml.

In this case you have to add the quantity of salt given below the header : ADD to stock in grams in your stock solution and dose according to the dose specified by you in the Dose Input Box.



In order to be notified about the dosage in your notification or alarm select the checkbox alongside the nutrient element you want to be notified and click on NOTIFY ME. 

A Dialog will appear requesting you to select the fertilizer dosing reminder to which you want to add this dosage information.

You must have a Reminder added in the Dosing panel inside My Tasks section to use the above feature.
